Dee, I use my Ethel Gloves all the time, except for roses, and then I get out my heavy duty gloves. Thanks for your comment...VintageGardenGal

Bonnie, I like Ethel Gloves too. They work great for me except when pruning rose bushes. :) ~~Dee

Hi Bonnie, your blog site is beautiful, simply lovely to look at. I just signed up for your newsletter, too! I tried Ethel Gloves and although I like their patterns, I found I needed a tighter fit and bought some gorgeous red gloves from Foxgloves, Inc. They're the 'Elle' style and are long enough to cover my forearms arms. I really need that protection from both the sun and from being scratched, and the fashionable styling makes them almost too good to wear for gardening. But, I found, they wash well, too! In fact I liked them so much I bought another pair with those little grip dots on them for when I'm taking photos this Fall in the Kennebunks, Maine, where I live.

Hi Bonnie, after you told me about the Ethel gloves last weekend I had them on my mind. I had never before seen their product but this morning I was at Green Thumb Nursery in Ventura and noticed a prominent display of all the fashionable Ethel gloves! I am pretty hard on my gloves, too, so I doubt mine would ever stay clean. But I like the little black stylish gloves - they would work!
Thanks for the great review, xoxo Debra
