Every year a big nearby ranch, which is famous for their squash and pumpkins, holds a “tasting.” Beth and George Kendall usually showcase about 20 varieties and they’re all cooked and ready to rate. If you look back on http://www.sharonlovejoy.blogspot.com you’ll find photos of the tasting.
